TRIDECK & TRIPANEL CUSTOM

Tricel Trideck:

Trideck is a versatile composite panel faced with 3/8" exterior A-C plywood laminated to 2½" phenolic impregnated structural grade Tricel Honeycomb.

Our samples (less framing lumber) and specifications illustrate the product and provide performance data for TRIDECK.  TRIDECK, when supported by a structural system, will afford the custom exhibit builder an efficient, light weight, cost effective system capable of saving the client thousands of dollars in transportation, storage, installation, and dismantling costs each time the exhibit is used.   Because TRIDECK is designed to carry a given load over a longer span than conventional construction, structural supports can be reduced to a minimum.

Unfortunately, we cannot design a standard structural system to meet each and every designer's requirements.  However, we are available to furnish you with an engineering opinion to solve the designer's requirements. This can be done on an individual basis by faxing us those requirements and a sketch of the double deck layout to (847) 336-1311.

Core Material - 3/8" - 60 - 60 - 15%
Uniform Load - 40 lbs./sq.ft.
Panel Width - 4 ft.
Panel Deflection - L/360th Span
Panel Weight - 4' x 8' - 90#, 4' x 10' - 110#

Things You Should Know:

Panel Size - 4' x 8', 4' x 10' (nominal size).  Other sizes available on special order.

Loading - 40#/sq. ft. with a deflection 1/4" on an 8" span, 1/3" on a 10' span.  This in accordance with FHA requirements. 

Support System - Can be constructed of aluminum, fiberglass, wood, or steel.  Structural members need only be on 8' or 10' centers for a 40#/sq. ft. live load.

Attachments - Panels are furnished with a 1½" wood perimeter frame to accommodate installation of cam locks and/or dowel pins (not furnished).  Although connection of panels to each other is not required, Tricel will install Norse type cam locks for an additional charge.

Tripanel Custom

Tripanel Custom is a rigid, lightweight wall panel, which when fitted with cam-locks produces high quality seamless wall panels.

Things You Should Know:

• 2 sided panel.
• Cut square, ready for finishing, i.e.: paint, wallpaper, fabric covering, graphic application, HPL, or slat wall.
• Buying pre-made panels allows in-house people to use their time and talents for more profitable work.
• Buying pre-made panels is faster and more efficient.
