Tricel
is a family owned business, started in 1982 by Blaine
Loudin and his son, Steve. Blaine boasts over 50
years in the kraft paper industry, and although semi-retired,
still consults on various projects.
Steve
Loudin, President of Tricel, is a veteran of construction
engineering, and is the co-creator of the unique honeycomb machinery. Working with
his father, Steve has propelled Tricel to leadership in the paper honeycomb
industry. Both founded the company on the simple credo that customer service is
tantamount to good business. Tricel prides itself on human contact (no voice mail),
and follows up every inquiry, no matter the size.
Also integral in our success is
Lynne Nowak, our Plant
Manager. He oversees all manufacturing, scheduling, and shipping. The plant, a
27,000 square foot factory located in Gurnee IL (north of Chicago), currently runs two
shifts and employs twenty line workers. We are also gearing up for additional
opportunities by expanding to a four acre site.
Front office
staff includes Peter Toppen and Todd
Stiefelmayer,
our Territory Sales Managers, and our office manager, Gerry
Bermingham,
who also handles shipping.
Tahoe, The Office Wonder Dog, keeps
everyone in line. Most can be emailed directly.
All Tricel products are produced to order
with varying lead times. However, we do keep some stock on hand. We want to solve
your core dilemmas, and welcome design challenges. Chances are we have a product
that is right for you. Whether it be open faced honeycomb ready for your finishing,
or a complete panel, we have your lightweight core solution.
